    Our Story

    The story of TOMO YUME Biotech began with a vision: to empower everyone to embrace health, confidence, and natural beauty. The name “TOMO YUME” is inspired by the Japanese word YUME, meaning “dream.” At the heart of this dream is founder Dr. Kao’s passion for exploring the potential of exosome technology and bringing the power of natural beauty to life. The TOMO YUME logo is inspired by the letter “U,” symbolizing both “YOU” and a drop of water. It represents exosomes—tiny yet powerful biological carriers—and reflects our vision of bringing nature, health, and beauty together to create meaningful changes in everyday life.
    Professor Kao brings more than 30 years of industry and management experience. In addition to holding two doctoral degrees, she earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Japan, cultivating a distinctive perspective on art and aesthetics. After returning from Japan to Taiwan in 2019, she entered the regenerative biotechnology field, where she recognized the potential of biotechnology and exosome technologies and went on to establish TOMO YUME Biotech. As our research continues to advance, TOMO YUME has expanded from exosome technology to establish a multi-source exosome and extracellular vesicle (EV) technology platform. By integrating process development, lyophilization technologies, raw materials, and formulation development, we continue to extend our innovations into skincare, scalp care, pet care, and a growing range of applications, exploring new possibilities in biotechnology.
